Overview of Role
ZwitterCo is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire supply chain planning process, ensuring efficient and effective resource management and meeting both in-house and customer demands while minimizing costs.
This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and meet in-house and customer demands
- Lead the demand planning process, collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to create accurate forecasts
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels, and timely replenishment
- Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, implementing contingency plans as needed
- Lead and mentor supply chain planners, providing guidance, training, and performance
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in supply chain management
- Oversee and manage the external manufacturing (EM) process
- Develop and implement EM strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with product regulatory requirements
- Manage the budget and costs associated with EM processes
- Coordinate product or process projects as required
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience, or a combination of education and experience
- At least 7 years of supply chain experience is required
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing supply chain operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing staff
- Proficiency in supply chain management tools
- Knowledge of supply chain standards and best practices
- Water industry experience/toll coating preferred, but not required
Location, Travel and Compensation:
Based in our Woburn, MA office, this role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and requires travel up to 50%. We offer a competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience, which includes equity and benefits.
