We are looking for a Product Analyst to join Tala and drive world-class product monitoring of our Android App, become an expert in understanding how our product works and how customers use our product, and conduct data analysis to size the impact of product changes and make data-driven recommendations for product strategy.
What You'll Do
In partnership with product managers, define product monitoring KPIs and critical views needed to understand customer behavior and product health (i.e. funnel/conversion + longitudinal views)
Monitor product conversion and performance on an ongoing basis, enabling quick issue identification and remediation. Root cause performance changes and outliers.
Deeply understand customer behavior and use of the app. Identify opportunities to improve our customer experience and business performance through data analysis. Contribute to and create business cases for proposed product features.
Analyze business impact of product changes and experiments, ensuring both quality in execution and learnings, and being able to do so more quickly
Communicate monitoring results, actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and analysis results to partners and stakeholders
What You'll Need
2+ years of relevant business or data analysis experience, with proven ability to push through ambiguity to interpret data with minimal guidance
Proficiency with SQL required, Python a plus. Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
Ability to translate product analytics needs into clear and concise recommendations to drive decisions
Experience working on and doing analysis for financial services and lending products
