What are we looking for?

As a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer, you will join our dynamic Scrum team (of 7, spead across Czechia, Israel, and Slovakia) and play a crucial role in the architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of a cutting-edge, cloud-native software platform focused on identity and access management (IAM). In this role, you will primarily focus on areas such as authentication, authorization, and enhancing the backend functionality of our IAM platform.

What will you do?

  • Collaborating across teams to shape IAM system requirements.
  • Building a secure and scalable backend for our IAM platform.
  • Creating APIs and cross region services mainly for authentication, authorization.
  • Development with efficiency in mind especially for permission and access control.
  • Ensuring backend reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
  • Providing constructive feedback in code reviews for continuous improvements.
  • Swiftly troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Tech stack: Spring framework family (boot, web, web-flux, cloud), Gradle, Jooq; Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, AWS, GCP; GithubActions, ArgoCD; Postgres, Kafka, Redis

Main challenges that you will help to solve:

  • Global Tenant and user management system that can be used across multiple regions and cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
  • Crucial components that will connect together the whole S1 ecosystem.
  • Flexible permission model and lifting up existing use-case on the top of it.
  • High performance services with throughput much higher than 100k req/s (using reactive programming).

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Several years of experience in designing services and developing features using Java.
  • Proven knowledge in designing and architecting large and scalable cloud-based applications, and developing on AWS infrastructure.
  • Strong familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Exceptional drive, communication, and problem-solving skills.
