Your Role at SafelyYou
The Director of Customer Sales & Marketing oversees customer sales and marketing success for current customers. The main responsibilities of this customer-facing role involve identifying and prioritizing target accounts, building customer relationships, training to enable customers to sell SafelyYou solutions and encourage opt-ins, creating and executing customer marketing campaigns, measuring impact on customer and expansion business objectives, and collecting customer success stories. As Director of Customer Sales & Marketing, you’ll play a crucial role in fostering partnerships with key customers to drive SafelyYou revenue growth and build local awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Customer Account Managers to identify target expansion opportunities for sales and marketing support and develop strategic, actionable plans for each
- Relationship building with customer corporate sales and marketing staff to partner on marketing plan development including KPIs to gauge campaign success and build trust for campaign and community enablement and execution
- Development, publishing, training, and maintenance of customer sales and marketing toolkit portals
- Coordinate and conduct trainings with customer regional and community sales and marketing staff as needed
- Manage customization, printing, and distribution of marketing materials and collateral for customers
- Customer marketing campaign development and execution to support customer success including creative strategy and ideation, kickoffs, reviews and approvals, deliverable distribution and promotion, and reporting
- Documentation and organization of relevant customer sales and marketing activity
- Participation in regular customer business reviews and prospect sales presentations, as requested
- Monitor and encourage customer social media, local PR, surveys/reviews, and event activity and coordinate with internal marketing team for re-posting and/or internal promotion, as applicable
- Uncover, collect, process, and publish customer success stories and testimonials, including Care Champion Heroes and clinical and ROI outcomes, potentially leading to case studies
- Closely monitor customer marketing budget, ensuring we are utilizing funds in an efficient manner
- Creation and maintenance of customer sales and marketing playbooks
- Monthly reporting of field marketing activity status
- Keep abreast on relevant industry trends and tools and competitor activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience working in the long-term care space in sales or marketing
- Understanding of the senior living community sales and marketing landscape and their tools and resources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write project briefs and proposed content for marketing promotions and campaigns
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, ideally including Salesforce Account Engagement
- Experience with digital media platforms and campaign development and execution
- Proven success in developing marketing materials
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience with marketing sales enablement tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of creative minds and stakeholders
- Self-starter that can make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrates clear, direct communication style, with ability to present to executives
- Approachable, friendly relationship builder
- Successful track record for taking the initiative and problem-solving
