Company Description:

At Sabanto, we are delivering farming services that will change the agricultural world. Our team is building a fleet of autonomous agricultural equipment, to enable faster, cheaper, and more efficient farming around the clock, anywhere in the world. We are looking for new team members to deliver the future of agriculture.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to understand the equipment landscape, labor issues, and pain points of crop producers and other stakeholders in various agriculture industries.
  • Analyze competitor landscape and identify potential opportunities for differentiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management) to define the core functionalities and features for the MVP.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the crop production process and the challenges associated with automation.
  • Identify and qualify potential partners and customers for the MVP launch.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on the autonomous system to potential partners and customers.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales and adoption of the MVP.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential customers and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, product management, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in conducting market research and identifying business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the agriculture industry.
  • Understanding of autonomous systems (a plus)

  • This work can be performed remotely.
