Job Description:

As the Electric Harness Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and testing electrical harnesses for Sabanto’s autonomy systems
  • Provisioning electrical devices
  • Sub-assembling components of Sabanto’s autonomy kits, prior to shipment

Job Location:

  • Sabanto's office (in Ames, IA) and equipment shop (in Nevada, IA)
  • Working remotely is not available for this position

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail and a fast learner is required
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed and ability to think methodically to complete projects without all details readily available
  • Willing and able to perform hands-on tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with agriculture or construction equipment, precision-agriculture devices and controller
  • 2-year technical degree in electronics repair/building, relevant military experience, or 3+ years of automotive repair or mechanical assembling
