RF TESTING TECHNICIAN

Based out of Rocket Lab’s global headquarters in Long Beach, the RF Testing Technician brings products and processes to bear and ensures successful build of a wide suite of avionics and RF products. Your expertise will be needed in testing RF components to a high level of quality and attention to detail.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Follow work instructions to carry out comprehensive RF testing activities, utilizing environmental test equipment and common RF testing equipment
  • Support various vibe and shock operations for RF components
  • Carry out system level RF testing activities on spacecraft
  • Work on Continuous improvement projects and elevate the 5S program in your area
  • Identify and highlight abnormalities and work with engineering to improve the work instructions and drawings
  • Complete assigned special projects and scheduled jobs
  • Manage multiple tasks and pivot onto exciting high priority tasks

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience testing RF components in an aerospace production environment
  • Experience with vibe table and thermal chambers
  • Experience with common RF equipment, such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, RF cables, power supplies, and multimeters)

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • 5+ years of experience testing RF components in an aerospace environment
  • Understanding of RF theory
  • Think creatively and question the status quo
  • Speak openly and elevate concerns and recommendations to Leading Hand

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. 

In addition to base salary, Rocket Lab offers a comprehensive total compensation package based on individual qualifications and experience, which may include cash or equity incentives. Employees will also be eligible for medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan options, and to purchase discounted stock through Rocket Lab's Employee Stock Purchase Program.

$32$36 USD
