SUPERVISOR, INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

The Inventory Supervisor leads a team responsible for inventory controls & the daily execution activities of expediting, receiving, Storage, Picking, packing, and local dispatch.  This leader will be very hands on working directly with team members to maintain high Service levels to internal and external customers, Order Fulfillment, DIFOT, Inventory Accuracy and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

  • Direct a team of people responsible for inventory management, material handling, and shipping and receiving.
  • Accountable for inventory controls, perpetual inventory reporting, on-time delivery of material from inventory to production, and packaging solutions to prevent damage to parts.
  • Responsible for implementing systems and processes, to manage bar-coding and bin locations for inventory management.
  • Responsible for inventory planning and kitting process, to deliver materials line-side to production cells.
  • Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and cycle counts are meeting Finance requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring shipping and receiving processes are in place and support Procure to Pay process.
  • Responsible for Receiving Inspection, to ensure parts meet specifications.
  •  domestically and abroad.
  • Additional duties as reasonably required.

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma and 5+ years of experience.
  • 3+ years of related experience in Leadership within Supply Chain
  • Proven ability to manage inventory teams.
  • Proven ability to implement systems and tools for material management.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, math and statistics

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other heavy manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP Systems
  • Associate's degree or bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in high-paced, rapid growth environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Team oriented, strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel and communicate outside of work hours.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. 

In addition to base salary, Rocket Lab offers a comprehensive total compensation package based on individual qualifications and experience, which may include cash or equity incentives. Employees will also be eligible for medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan options, and to purchase discounted stock through Rocket Lab's Employee Stock Purchase Program.

$75,000$100,000 USD
