Reality Defender is seeking an NYC-based Sales Engineer. This role will support the Growth Team during the sales process, demo’ing our deepfake detection platform, solutioning potential API integrations with prospective clients and generally acting as the technical point of contact for potential clients from qualification through pilot to successful contract signing.
Deliver technical product demos and presentations, and be the technical POC during pilots
Think on your feet to provide real time recommendations during client interactions and scope technical integrations based on client requirements
Communicate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to troubleshoot integrations and be the voice of the technical customer internally
You will connect with peers throughout Reality Defender to learn, contribute, and share best practices
You own the technical sales process from stem to stern, working in tandem with our Head of Growth to identify, qualify and scope opportunities, build and maintain account plans, and execute proof of concept engagements as needed to convert opportunities into technical victories.
You're constantly building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer stakeholders as well as the reseller partners and internal Reality Defender resources who all contribute to the success of your customers.

Bachelors or equivalent and 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in technical consulting or as a Sales Engineer
Exemplary real-time problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex scenarios and architectures and provide guidance on the fly
Excellent knowledge and proven experience selling to the enterprise customer. Government experience not required, but a plus
You understand SaaS-based technologies and their implications for the enterprise
Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution, often under pressure
You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Your presentations and demos for prospects, partners and customers are crisp, informative, and tailored to your audience, be they executives, architects or operators
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
You are based in NYC and you are willing to travel as needed
