About the role

Plenty is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join us for a 5-month contract with our high performing Sales & Business Development team. The mission of the Sales & Business Development team is to drive/accelerate profitable growth and you’ll be instrumental in helping us scale. In this role, you will be responsible for high quality execution of customer operations to ensure we’re exceeding our customers’ expectations every day. We’re looking for someone who is a natural problem-solver and a master of execution, someone who can work across the entire Plenty team to drive results for our customers.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback on customer pain points and working cross-functionally to improve how we engage with our customers day-to-day
  • Drive projects and analytics aimed at improving the customer experience
  • Resolve customer issues with internal/external business partners
  • Lead implementation of customer management policies, including order size minimums, lead time adherence, and more
  • Manage onboarding of new customers, and coordinate onboarding responsibilities for new products
  • Manage customer complaint process and help coordinate resolution of product quality issues
  • Demand management & order fulfillment: Manage order workflow, including receiving and inputting orders, managing fulfillment, and processing invoices as needed
  • Relationships with customer contacts for orders/demand
  • Own and refine SOPs (standard operating procedures) and policies to optimize the order fulfillment process
  • Collaborate with our IT and Operations teams on EDI integration with retailers
  • Support the S&OP (sales & operations planning) process and provide input for consensus demand plan (including operational constraints and customer exigencies)
  • Work closely with supply planning team to meet OTIF (on time in full) standards for our customers
  • Internal operations: Define and execute strategic initiatives that enhance sales productivity by enabling our teams to be more effective in closing deals and growing accounts
  • Identify and implement process improvements to standardize workflows and eliminate non-value added work
  • Sales enablement: Support the Sales team across the entire selling lifecycle
  • Oversee pipeline management, including SFDC development and executive read-outs
  • Support creation of customer-facing materials (e.g. pitch decks) in collaboration with the Sales team
  • Others duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the table

  • Genuine interest and passion for Plenty’s mission
  • 8+ years of sales operations, operations, supply chain, or sales enablement experience
  • Ability to ideate, design, deploy, and refine new processes to help make the business more efficient
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business partners; cross-functional knowledge, including operations, supply chain, logistics, finance, and ITis a plus
  • People person – you have the ability to forge positive relationships and turn external stakeholders into champions; you anticipate customer needs and deliver excellent customer outcomes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Focused, organized, results-oriented individual with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and navigate an ever-changing high growth environment
