About the Role:

This role will be responsible for Knowledge management and AI Agent management. From the knowledge management perspective the role will be responsible for managing the acquisition, organization, sharing, and maintenance of Planet’s knowledge base. This will be tightly integrated with AI Agent management to ensure accurate and relevant recommendations are provided as well as identifying gaps and corrective actions with existing knowledge content.

You will build solid relationships with customer engineering, product management, and education teams to ensure information related to product releases, known issues, best practices, and troubleshooting processes are accessible internally and externally. This knowledge will also be critical for our AI Agent strategy to provide our customer and partners information they require to ensure their success with Planet products and services.

This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our Berlin or Haarlem office 3 days per week.

Impact You’ll Own:

  • Knowledge acquisition, organization, and Knowledge Base management.
  • Knowledge Management Strategy and Implementation.
  • AI Agent management including monitoring, review, and optimization of agent responses to identify and correct issues with accuracy and relevance of recommendations.
  • AI Customer and User Engagement.
  • Design, scope and create custom AI Agents.
  • Ethical KM/AI Practices.
  • Translate complex information: They simplify technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise language for diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).
  • Data Management and Governance.
  • Build solid relationships with partner teams including engineering, Customer Success, sales, and product management.

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of knowledge management and technical writing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Experience creating/using AI Agents and familiarity with AI agent architectures.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Perl) and GIS applications (ESRI, QGIS).
  • Experience with geo-spatial data, satellite imagery, and remote sensing.
  • Experience with Zendesk, JIRA, or comparable ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical solutions.
  • Ability to translate AI capabilities into tangible business value and analyze outputs.
