About the role:
Lumafield is seeking a highly motivated Inventory Control Specialist to collaborate with our Engineering and Supply Chain teams to oversee inventory control and shipping & receiving at Lumafield’s production facility. As a member of the manufacturing team, you will be exposed to every facet of building our complex hardware product. You will work on a range of projects, including managing inventory operations and our shipping & receiving activities, warehouse space planning, and training team members in inventory functions. You will have significant autonomy and ownership of inventory operations to support our scaling manufacturing operation.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain an accurate digital inventory system using Netsuite
  • Maintain organized, well-labeled, and easy-to-navigate storage areas
  • Develop and execute the inventory management plan for cycle counts, replenishment, and re-orders
  • Manage shipping and receiving operations for our Everett, MA facility
  • Plan and execute part changeovers on the production floor as needed to implement engineering change orders
  • Prepare materials for outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documenting contents and method of shipment
  • Perform incoming inspection as needed with support from design engineers
  • Identify and resolve shipping, receiving, or storage issues as they arise
  • Occasionally assist the supply chain team with procurement

About you:

  • Love learning about new technology and processes
  • Organized and motivated, can handle several projects at the same time
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication skills in written and verbal form

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in a warehouse or other manufacturing environment
  • Experience driving a forklift
  • Experience with Netsuite or other ERP system
