As an Office Coordinator at Impulse, you will lead the day-to-day office operations at our testing facility in Mojave. This role acts as a key liaison between partner teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the office.

Note: This role is no more than 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison for the site, external service providers, and partner teams
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving logistics, including accepting deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments
  • Track couriers headed to or arriving from other offices
  • Order and pick up lunches for staff on site
  • Maintain stock of office supplies and food and beverages for the site
  • Maintaining a clean office and work environment
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, guests, contractors, and vendors
  • Coordinate travel, stay, and food for visitors
  • Track and document employee travel
  • Coordinate various vendors responsible for maintaining the site

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of experience in office or facilities management or a similar operations-focused role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) with an ability to quickly learn new software tools

Preferred Skills and Experience


  • Experience with front desk/reception duties and use of visitor or security management platforms
  • Exposure to project management and process documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Forklift operation experience or certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with the Mojave and Antelope Valley area
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment


Additional Requirements:

  • Drive up to 1 hour in each direction to make pick ups
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted

Additional Information:

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
