This is an incredible opportunity for an accomplished, high energy, passionate sales professional to play an integral role in building the commercial sales business for one of the most exciting security companies in the industry. The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual quotas in the Commercial market (under $1B in revenue). This will be achieved through outbound prospecting, working closely with partner sellers in your territory to identify opportunities to scale your sales capacity, proactive opportunity management, and working hand in hand with our inside sales, partner manager and marketing teams to create ample pipeline that enables you to exceed your sales targets.
The Commercial Account Executive builds relationships within Mid-Market clients and commercial focused partners while exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory.
Develop and execute a territory plan with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan
Build and ecosystem of sellers and SEs within our partners that are excited about Illumio, knowledgeable on our solutions and are proactively selling with you
Partner with the marketing team to initiate marketing plans to increase growth
Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
Arrange and conduct initial product demonstrations and presentations (Leveraging these opportunities to educate you partner sales peers and SEs)
Lead ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and improve additional revenue streams
Be a trusted advisor to your customers and partners by understanding their business and advising on how Illumio can help their IT roadmap or accelerate sales
5+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive (or equivalent) role within the IT industry
Experience selling with partners and have network of partners sellers that want to sell with you
Experience achieving sales targets
Ability to work in a matrixed support organization using multiple virtual specialists
Executive-level relationship management experience
Ability to provide transparency to sales process with excellent CRM hygiene
Travel: 20-40%, and in some cases up to 50%

Base Pay Range:
$92,500 USD to $129,500 USD
The base pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
