In this role, you will set the marketing automation strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the marketing ops team, overseeing the execution of global programs.

Everyday, you will manage marketing operations projects, work closely with the Demand Generation team on email campaigns, and execute day-to-day operations, including email sends, segmentation, and lead flow management.

To thrive in this role, you must have 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing automation experience, be an expert in tools like Marketo and Salesforce, demonstrate a strong analytical mindset, and thrive in an ambiguous environment while effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Illumio’s Marketing Operations team is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to own the marketing automation platform, Marketo, and manage campaign operations and strategy. In this role, you will be a core collaborator with the wider marketing team to design and execute programs globally. You will also be a builder. Someone who can audit existing operational processes and improve system configurations for scalability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the marketing automation strategy and roadmap in partnership with marketing ops team and objectives.

  • Manage our marketing operations agency to see projects through to completion and ensure program requests are executed within SLA.

  • Partner closely with the Demand Generation team on email nurture and lead generation campaigns.

  • Design and manage the campaign data taxonomy, UTMs, segmentation, list management and related system design to ensure data integrity.

  • Execute day-to-day campaign operations; including email and newsletter sends, audience segmentation, landing page creation, webinar ops, program integrations, list uploads, and end-to-end lead flow management and analytics.

  • Own and manage email deployment calendar, strategically optimize marketing communications and touchpoints while adhering to GDPR and other email privacy compliance rules.

  • Own inbound lead validation, enrichment, segmentation, scoring, campaign membership, merging, L2A matching, and synchronization to our CRM.

  • Support the implementation of marketing technology and integrations.

  • Keep technical documentation and socialize processes with stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Must be an expert in core marketing operation tools such as Marketo and Salesforce. Certifications are a plus.

  • Be a self-starter. Be curious. Have the drive to build and optimize.

  • Have a solid understanding of B2B marketing analytics such as funnel/waterfall frameworks, attribution modeling, and UTM tracking.

  • Thrive in an ambiguous environment and drive positivity within the team.

  • Apply critical thinking (a data and process decision approach) when reviewing and analyzing data ensuring there is a logical review with accompanying information that supports the recommendations being made.

  • Communicate clearly and often to ensure leadership and colleagues are kept aware of relevant issues or updates.

  • Ability to conceptualize, plan, and document effectively.

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, project management, and time management ability with a deadline focus.

  • Proactive and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions.

  • Experience working in collaboration with a diverse range of business functions and customers to drive change and achieve delivery.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail to deliver high-quality output.

Pay Range:

$117,000 USD - $135,000.00 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
