Description
The Strategic Lead, People Operations will support People Operations’ delivery of new and evolving strategic initiatives. This role will play a key part on the People Operations team, which offers practical advice, innovative tools, and solutions to advance our company’s mission and support our employees’ experience, development, and well-being. The Strategic Lead, People Operations reports to the Director of People Operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement strategic initiatives that focus on creating a collaborative, positive, and inclusive place for Fervo employees to come to work including:
- Career growth pathways for employees across technical, support, and managerial functions
- Creative approaches to learning and development across employee levels
- Talent management and retention mechanisms
- Lead projects from concept to execution, including change management, content creation, training facilitation, and project implementation management
- Utilize data analytics and insights to inform strategies, providing actionable recommendations for initiative delivery and process improvement
- Develop and implement comprehensive metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of initiatives or programs
- Other People Operations tasks to align human resource processes with organizational strategic objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, graduate; Master’s degree desirable
- 3+ years of consulting, project management, human resources, or related roles with proven experience in program management and design and delivering strategic initiatives
- A deep passion for people and culture and building organizations around their greatest asset – their people
- A self-starter attitude and the ability to accomplish expected tasks under minimal supervision
- Comfort with ambiguity, the ability to adapt to change, and a desire to grow professionally by taking on new challenges
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with executive leadership, management, and staff
