Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Career Pathways, NextGen at ServiceNow. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging internally to promote hiring from our NextGen talent pool. You will be responsible for establishing and managing apprenticeships, internships, and on-the-job training opportunities for early-in-career, underrepresented individuals graduating from NextGen into roles across ServiceNow. This role plays a crucial part in developing a diverse and skilled workforce by providing opportunities for individuals to gain hands-on experience, technical instruction, and ServiceNow industry certifications.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement on-the-job training programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

· Working in partnership with our government strategist, Identify and establish partnerships with government entities supporting community-based organizations, and industry associations to recruit and support underrepresented individuals into apprenticeship programs at ServiceNow.

· Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for NextGen apprentices and interns.

· Collaborate with hiring managers to identify suitable on-the-job training opportunities for individuals transitioning from NextGen training.

· Provide guidance and support to apprentices and interns throughout their training period, ensuring students receive the necessary technical instruction and mentorship needed to be successful on the job.

· Monitor the progress and performance of apprentices and interns, conducting regular evaluations and assessments of both hiring manager and candidate.

· Collaborate with HR, legal and NextGen partnership teams to ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and apprenticeship/internship standards.

· Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and government initiatives related to apprenticeships and training programs.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to apprenticeship programs, including training hours, certifications, and qualifications.

· Monitor and report program status.

Qualifications

· 10+ years in Program development, Government, Talent Acquisition, HR, or other related fields.

· Proven experience in relationship building and program development preferably within the technology, software, government, higher ed or nonprofit industry with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding placement targets.

· Strong understanding of the roles and functions across ServiceNow business units.

· Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify challenges and provide effective workforce advancement solutions.

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

· Experience creating and executing roadmaps and training materials.

· Familiarity with talent acquisition strategies and best practices is a plus.

· Strong public speaking, presentation and written skills (including the development of plans, presentations and show flows).

· The candidate should be committed to ongoing learning and development and be open to receiving action-oriented feedback aligned to clear expectations.

· Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology, practices and tools a plus.

· Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, with a focus on promoting opportunities for underserved and underrepresented communities.

For positions in New York City, we offer a base pay of $173,100 - $302,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
