Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Succession Development to lead our talent mobility and succession planning efforts. This strategic role is essential for developing strong leadership pipeline and proactive development of high-potential leaders, ensuring that our talent pipeline is aligned with our ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to internal talent mobility that encourages the progression of high-potential employees into critical roles.
  • Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to identify key talent and create personalized career paths that align with individual and organizational goals.
  • Manage and refine the company’s succession planning processes, focusing on the seamless transition of internal talent into leadership and high-impact positions.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor talent movement trends and effectiveness of mobility strategies, adjusting approaches as necessary to meet changing business needs.
  • Foster a culture of internal growth and development, ensuring employees are aware of and prepared for advancement opportunities.
  • Create frameworks for regular talent reviews and assessments within departments to proactively manage and support career progression.
  • Report on the status and success of succession health for senior leadership and critical roles, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR or talent management, with a proven focus on talent mobility and succession planning within a large global organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform and justify talent mobility strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating others and fostering strong collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Experience in a business partnering capacity, whether in talent management or elsewhere.
  • Experience in managing HR initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment.
