What you get to do in this role:

  • Mature and evolve programs for managing, mitigating, and communicating vendor security risks
  • Negotiate security terms, and identify, mitigate, and address cybersecurity contracting risks.
  • Work with Procurement Legal, Vendor Risk, and business partners to ensure agreements with vendors include appropriate cybersecurity terms.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Legal, Vendor Risk, SSO, and business partners to ensure templates and negotiation playbooks are updated and reflect the internal security posture and external requirements.
  • Manage intake of vendor contract security requests.
  • Support Procurement Legal and business partners in negotiating directly with vendors.
  • Support internal partners in vendor-related incident response.
  • Analyze legislative and regulatory developments (new and existing) to ensure ServiceNow remains aligned with evolving requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • MUST HAVE a minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity
    • Knowledge of various security solutions, technologies, and best practices, allowing this role to provide recommendations and drive security requirements/clauses in contracts, together with the people stills to assist in negotiating requirements with vendors
  • Certifications in security, audit, risk management, and project management are highly desirable:
    • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPP, GIAC, PMP
  • Strong background with national and international compliance requirements/standards such as:
    • ISO27001/27002, SOC 1&2, NIST CSF
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow GRC/IRM is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, or business-related discipline
  • Knowledge of security contracting language and negotiation

  • Track record of identifying the need for and driving beneficial change; practices continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to have critical conversations
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated sound business judgement
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload
