Team: The SRE Delivery Analytics team supports informed decision making by efficiently providing SRE management and other key stakeholders with timely, high-quality, curated analyses, reports, metrics, and related services.
What you get to do in this role:
· Design, develop, and maintain the reports, analyses, metrics, and related resources needed to support and continually improve ServiceNow's SRE
· Work with disparate, often complex, data sets to perform analyses and communicate findings and recommendations to the SRE leadership team
· Identify, develop, and deploy metrics to support operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
· Champion the adoption of data analytics as a key component of process, technology, and resource management
· Play a keep role in the development and ongoing improvement of the SRE Data Analytics program
To be successful in this role you have:
· Demonstrated expertise in Excel
· Demonstrated expertise in Power BI or Tableau
· Demonstrated expertise in SQL and databases
· Demonstrated expertise in scripting and/or programming—particularly Python
· Demonstrated proficiency with Linux, IP networks, servers, and other infrastructure
· Operations experience with a cloud, social media, gaming, or other company with a massive online presence
· Solid critical thinking and mathematical skills—including a fundamental understanding of statistics
· Solid written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on presenting complex data in an intuitive format
· Significant NOC or SRE experience a plus
· Significant continuous improvement program experience a plus
· ServiceNow development or system administration experience a plus
· Expertise in ServiceNow reporting, dashboarding, and Performance Analytics a plus
Basic Qualifications:
· A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of experience in BI or Data Analytics—preferably in a cloud, SaaS, or PaaS company
