We’re seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to operate and optimize Metal Binder Jet Printing equipment and processes. This role involves working closely with metal powders—including explosible powders—ensuring safe, efficient printing operations, and collaborating with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to drive innovation in additive manufacturing. We are open to hiring either a contractor or a full-time employee for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Metal Binder Jet Printing equipment with precision and safety.
Handle and process metal powders safely, adhering strictly to safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
Understand and control all process variables related to metal part printing and downstream processing.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams through clear record-keeping, daily updates, and detailed reports.
Partner with engineers and scientists to design, write, and execute experiments aimed at process optimization and development.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident).
Experience in Additive Manufacturing or 3D Printing.
Proven problem-solving skills with a creative and efficient approach.
Demonstrated ability to drive design decisions based on research and testing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in basic statistical analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with powder-based processes, including powder metallurgy.
Familiarity with high-temperature processing techniques.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar process control methodologies.
Advanced skills in statistical analysis, design of experiments (DOE), and process development.
