The Azure Databricks sales organization is a team of sales professionals that work to deliver significant revenue into Microsoft customers and end users. This team focuses on the full sales motion (prospecting to closure) to accelerate the success of Databricks and its partners. You are responsible for running a book of business for the American region focusing on Americas Enterprise.
Reporting directly to the Azure Databricks Global VP of Sales, the Azure Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the direct sales effort of Azure Databricks alongside Microsoft, while coordinating revenue generating activities with the Databricks sales organization for the Retail & Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, CME, and Canada OU’s. Proven experience in leading an enterprise software sales/consumption process in a complicated matrix/v-team and collaboration with SI/consulting partners is paramount. You will have deep experience in working with large technology cloud platform providers, be customer-oriented, excel in a “team selling” approach and have strong discipline in working towards a value-based sales process. Additionally, we are looking for someone with a strong Azure ecosystem background
