At Databricks, we are passionate about helping data teams solve the world's toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business.

We are the AI/BI team, a core part of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, dedicated to transforming data into applicable insights and thoughtful solutions. This team uses advanced technologies in artificial intelligence and business intelligence to analyze vast amounts of data, uncover trends, and provide predictive analytics to customers to lead strategic decision-making. By integrating AI algorithms with BI tools, the team develops unique products that allow customers to gain deep visibility into performance, enhance operational efficiency, and identify new growth opportunities in ways not possible before.

We're looking for a dedicated Engineering Manager to inspire creativity and create solutions in the area of AI/BI.

  • Develop engineering leaders and support engineers in their career development.
  • Help define the product and engineering roadmap for the team.
  • Partner with other engineering (include AI experts) and product leaders on planning, prioritization and staffing.

What we look for:

  • 3+ years experience working in a related system with an emphasis on Business Intelligence, AI and full-stack product development.
  • Experience with business intelligence, semantic modeling, and AI.
  • Can ensure the team builds high quality and reliable products.
  • Experience promoting a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
