As an IT Collaboration Engineer in our dynamic and growing technology firm, you will help manage and optimize our collaboration tools and platforms with a focus on Google Workspace, Slack, Glean and other collaboration tools. You will enhance employee productivity and ensuring seamless communication. This role demands a strategic approach to system administration, automation, and integration, providing you with an excellent opportunity to contribute to our organization's success. You will report to the Vice President, Infrastructure and Operations as part of the IT organization.

Employee Experience & Collaboration Tools Management:

Own the employee experience as a pivotal aspect of this role.

Identify gaps and shortcomings in our collaboration tools and platforms impacting user experience.

Envision and implement innovative ideas to enhance the overall user experience for our diverse workforce.

Shape a workplace environment that fosters productivity, collaboration, and job satisfaction through technology solutions.

Administer and optimize collaboration tools, including G Suite, Slack, Glean, Moveworks, Github, Confluence, Jira, Teams etc.

Ensure these tools align with defined standards and enhance overall employee collaboration.

Google Workspace Administration:
-
Manage and optimize Gmail enterprise tenants under Google Workspace.

Implement best practices to enhance email, Shared drives, and calendar services for a positive user experience.

Manage email gateway solutions, ensuring secure communication and adherence to data compliance standards.

Collaborate with Legal and compliance teams to fulfill eDiscovery requests using vendor tools or custom code/APIs.

Search Optimization and Accessibility :

Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity enhancements while solving problems.

Streamline search functionalities for seamless navigation through Confluence, Jira, and other platforms.

Develop and implement metadata standards to improve search relevance and accuracy.

Ensure that employees can effortlessly locate information, colleagues, and resources within our collaboration ecosystem. Collaborate with team members, peers, and external partners to accomplish goals.

What we look for:

5+ years of experience in administering collaboration tools, with a focus on Google Workspace, Slack, Secure Email gateways. Experience in Confluence, Jira and chatbots.

Bachelor’s degree. (Computer Science preferred)

Proficient in managing Gmail enterprise tenants under Google Workspace.

Experience in automation scripting using Python, Powershell, Javascript, or other relevant languages.

Knowledge of security and compliance standards related to collaboration tools and data handling.

The ability to identify root causes of issues.

Excellent documentation skills.

Experience working on multi-functional, cross-team projects.

Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
