Job Brief:
As the EH&S Lead, you will play a leadership role in shaping and managing our EHS strategy, ensuring our processes meet the highest standards for safety, compliance, and sustainability. With expertise in handling corrosive acids, gases, and high-risk operations, you will lead initiatives to protect our workforce, the environment, and the surrounding community.
This is a full-time, contract position located in Oakland, California.
Key Focus Areas of the role may include:
Program Development & Implementation:
Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
Regulatory Compliance:
Extensive knowledge of Cal/OSHA standards, Prop 65, and other California-specific EHS regulations; experience with multi-state compliance, particularly in Nevada, is a strong plus
Emergency Preparedness & Response:
Develop and manage emergency response plans, including spill control, gas leak management, and chemical incident response
Continuous Improvement:
