Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the next stage of our Data Product Marketplace—a core pillar of our company’s shift toward treating data as a product and enabling agentic, mission-critical workflows.
The first version of the product is launching now. You’ll drive what comes next—ensuring the Marketplace delivers on its promise and becomes an indispensable part of our customers’ data strategy and business operations.
This role is deeply cross-functional and highly visible. You’ll help define what the product becomes—and how it delivers measurable value to customers.
We’re not looking for someone to simply manage a roadmap. We’re looking for someone who brings clarity to complexity, keeps the team focused on what truly moves the needle, and holds a high bar for quality.
This role is based in our Redwood City, CA office, with in-office collaboration at least two days per week. We support occasional flexibility (e.g., remote weeks or travel). The key is staying closely connected to your team as we build out this zero to one product.
What You’ll Do:
Own and evolve the Data Marketplace product—from early GA through iteration, scale, and extensibility.
Partner closely with Engineering to define API-first, integration-friendly interfaces and data models.
Break down complex, ambiguous problems into structured decisions and clear execution paths.
Drive product discovery through customer conversations, internal feedback loops, and product instrumentation.
Align and collaborate across squads to raise the output of your team and adjacent teams.
Deliver crisp product specs, strategy docs, and internal/external communications.
Stay focused on business impact—filtering work by what matters most.
What You Need:
You’re curious about and fluent in AI tools—constantly exploring how they can improve your work, speed up workflows, or unlock new product experiences.
You’re a clear communicator who makes complex ideas understandable across technical and non-technical audiences.
You’ve driven meaningful product outcomes.
You enjoy customer discovery and identifying underlying problems, not just implementing solutions.
You think in systems. You understand how APIs, models, and integrations shape user value.
You take ownership. You move things forward even when direction isn’t fully defined.
You’re driven by impact, not activity—you ask why before how.
You’re collaborative and elevate the performance of those you work with.
Bonus Points (Not Required)
Experience building or owning data products
Experience with API or spec-first product design (e.g., OpenAPI, GraphQL).
Background in data platforms, developer tools, or integration-heavy systems.
Familiarity with the modern data stack or metadata systems.
Prior experience working closely with engineers, architects, or platform teams.
Why This Role?
You’ll own a critical, still-forming product and shape it at a foundational level.
You’ll help lead the transformation of the data space as AI becomes embedded in how data is managed and used.
You’ll work directly with senior leaders across product, engineering, and design.
A Note on Fit
We know that no one hits every bullet—and we don’t expect you to. If this role excites you and you believe you could grow into it, we’d love to hear from you.
