Job Description:
What you’ll do:
Build and maintain flexible APIs, comprehensive test suites, third-party integrations, and secure, scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant infrastructure that targets multiple deployment environments
Collaborate with Product & Design to make roadmap determinations, to ensure a high-quality user experience, and to make smart scoping and priority decisions to ship fast, impactful code
Represent Engineering in customer meetings to gather requirements or to provide support for existing functionality
Work closely and mentor other team members to drive innovative solutions
You should have:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
8+ years of experience designing, developing, and shipping software products and services.
Expert proficiency with Python or Java
Experience working with RDBMS, data modeling, and APIs
Desire to dive into details of complex code and to identify solutions that improve quality of service and reduce operational and support burden
Solid understanding of SDLC, version control, and agile methodologies
Ability to translate business requirements and “user needs” into code – experience owning projects or features from planning to release
Adaptability and readiness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Working experience with JDBC along with various RDBMS and auth methods is strongly preferred
Experience building multi-tenant services, working with in-memory datastores and messaging frameworks, and processing data at scale are major pluses

Understanding of JVM profiling and optimization
Working experience with AWS infrastructure
Knowledge of the following: GHA/Jenkins; ElastiCache/Redis; Airflow/Celery; Django or any ORM or REST frameworks
Familiarity with LLMs
