About the Role

The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management of facilities operations for the company including supporting the implementation of the Factory Plan, overseeing facility improvements and construction projects across multiple sites and municipalities, equipment installation, and daily operations and maintenance of each site.

About the Work

  • Manages site and facilities infrastructure to maintain a safe and comfortable work environment.
  • Plans and coordinates outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants, coinciding work with company schedules to avoid or minimize interruptions to daily operations.
  • Ensures outside contractors and employees are properly trained on safety requirements, protocols and procedures for work performed on site or facilities.
  • Inspects, and identifies facilities issues and takes appropriate, time-sensitive corrective actions.
  • Manages projects supporting tenant improvements, equipment installations, and space setup in support of various departments in OR, CA and PA.
  • Plans and manages budgets for site and facilities O&M, TI projects, and related expenses for all company sites in OR, CA, PA.
  • Creates construction SOWs, work packages, change requests, and executes to meet schedules. Establishes site management of change policies and related procedures to ensure facilities changes are properly executed, and adhere to safety, compliance, contracts, permits, and local regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with city, county, state and federal regulations relating to site and facility.
  • Supports EH&S manager with facilities related safety, health and environmental policies and procedures, maintenance records and other required documents as necessary.
  • Coordinates with management to support department and company projects and objectives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years direct work experience in facilities management, construction and tenant improvements contracting, construction supervision, project management, budget planning, and asset management.
  • Broad knowledge of building structures, systems, MEP, life safety, and operation and maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of local, state, and federal building codes and requirements .
  • Well-developed ability to work with contractors, subcontractors, tradespeople to work with compliance agencies and utility agencies/companies.
  • In Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus 5 years directly related work experience in facilities and related operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office Suite; AutoCAD a plus.
  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the production facility.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
  • Domestic travel up to 10%.
